The Data Insights Analyst position reporting to the Director, Business Operations , is designed to bridge the gap between data and decision making. You will take on complex data problems , providing analysis and insights that enables stakeholders to make quicker, more informed decisions. With hundreds of billions of usage data points received & processed every quarter across TV, Radio, Streaming, UGC, Video on demand and more , there is vast potential to unearth trends, identify inefficiencies and to support effective operational and executive level decision-making. Th is role is based in our Ultimo office, which is on Gadigal land In this role, you will underpin analytic s within Operations & Repertoire working with departmental leadership to: Develop forecasts and recommendations for planning purposes Analyse operational data to identify opportunities for greater efficiency Automate and streamline key reporting functions Provide clear and actionable insights to support leadership, committee and B oard reporting Assist with shaping how we report consumption and trends to stakeholders Collaborate cross-functionally to improve operational reporting frameworks Support day to day data requests for key stakeholders internally and externally Key skills we are looking for: Advance d SQL – y ou will need to navigate and write complex queries across large datasets Python (intermediate level) – for scripting, transformation and enabling automation Strong Excel and Power BI capabilities Experience working with Snowflake data warehouse Capab le of translat ing complex data opportunities to positive business outcome What’s in it for you: Opportunity to work close with senior leadership and support operational objectives and strategic initiatives.
