Finance Business Partner Overview: We are looking for a full-time (37.5 hours per week) Finance Business Partner who can support our growing Finance Department. As the Finance Business Partner, you will have a diverse and varied role. You’ll collaborate with our global teams to support company initiatives and uncover innovative solutions, while taking a proactive approach to your day-to-day responsibilities. Responsibilities & Duties: Building effective relationships with key stakeholders across APAC and business units to understand their needs and provide tailored financial advice and reporting. Commercial support for business unit heads, using financial data to provide insights, to support decision-making, and guidance to improve overall business performance to drive growth. Leading our annual budget and monthly forecasting processes, coordinating and proofing all commercial inputs and provide Head of Finance and Business Unit owners with commercial models to support the budgets and forecasts. With the support the Financial Accountant, manage the delivery of month end process across the 3 x TAG APAC Regions, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of delivery of our results. Lead the consolidation of monthly financial results, preparing all management and group reporting and providing insight into monthly results via commentary of key P&L and BS variances. Supporting the Head of Finance & Financial Accountant for annual audit and assist in delivery of year-end group reporting and statutory accounts within agreed timelines. Act as a bridge between the finance department and other business units to collaborate and educate key staff to ensure alignment of financial strategies with business objectives. Identifying and assessing financial risks and opportunities, and developing strategies to mitigate potential negative impacts to delivery of commissions and yield. Building detailed reporting and analysis for all major tours, productions and events and delivering accurate margin reporting. Assisting the Head of Finance and Commercial Director to develop commercial models to support hotel and land negotiations. Partnering with the Account Management & Sales teams to develop pricing strategies that maximize revenue while remaining competitive. Collaborating with the operations team to provide data led insight to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency. Providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making regarding commercial terms for client contract renewals and new business opportunities. Responsible for preparing detailed weekly cashflow forecast reports and commentary to Group and assist in effective management of working capital and delivery of our DSO & DPO targets. Qualifications: Qualified member of professional accounting body e.g., CA, CPA, CIMA OR in lieu of education, equivalent combination of education and directly related experience. 5 years of relevant experience across management accounting, budgeting, reporting and business partnering, at least 2 of which in managerial or supervisory roles. Demonstrate experience delivering high levels of accuracy in budgeting, forecasting and month end processing and reporting. Experience in the Travel industry is preferred, but not essential. Highly developed EQ and self-leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels both within and outside an organization and to effectively translate ideas, concepts and information. Advanced capability with Excel and prior use of BI tools. Ability to analyse and solve problems, using judgement and conceptual skills to make sound decisions. Ability to effectively manage time, set priorities and organise work in an effective and efficient manner to achieve set objectives within the resources available to agreed timelines. Proven capability to deliver commercial insights and to evaluate financial and business strategies to offer solutions to drive business growth.
