About our team Chief Operating Officer Group | Strategy Digital & Data | Architecture Design & Security | Business Architecture The Architecture, Design and Security Branch is responsible for setting the strategic technical direction for the Department and enabling alignment between technology strategies and business needs. The Branch works closely with business areas to provide guidance and support to architecture design, delivery and sustainment decisions. The Business Architecture Section works within the Architecture, Design and Security Branch. It provides expert business architecture assistance to business areas in the analysis and design of business change. The Section achieves this by facilitating the translation and transformation of departmental strategies into architecture blueprints and associated artefacts, which help plan the delivery of change to achieve Departmental and business areas' objectives and outcomes. The key duties of the position include Develop, implement and maintain business architecture artefacts in collaboration with Senior Business Architects Use design thinking methodologies to develop practical and innovative business and technology solutions Extensively engage with stakeholders to conduct research and analysis to understand business needs, processes and challenges Facilitate workshops and discussions to understand business requirements and identify viable solution options Contribute and provide expert advice and manage scope, requirements and priorities for initiatives of medium complexity to meet departmental objectives.
