The Opportunity We are seeking a motivated Subcontracts Specialist to join our E7 business division. The position is based in the Brisbane CBD. Responsibilities: In supporting the position, the successful candidate will be required to: Develop approaches to market for simple to complex work packages; Plan, draft, execute and manage a range of contracts types; Engage with internal and external stakeholders; Maintain a relationship with suppliers and drive collaboration to ensure on time performance and compliance; Participate in risk identification, mitigation planning and progress reporting; and Ensure compliance with supply chain management and program corporate governance policies and procedures. Experience/Qualifications The right applicant will have a combination of the following competencies: Three to five (3-5) years' or more work experience in contracts management with prior experience in an engineering or project delivery organization being highly desirable; Relevant Bachelor's degree in law, commerce or business; Excellent written and verbal communications skills; Good working knowledge of the responsibilities and tasks performed in contracting and their interdependencies with other project activities (for example, engineering, logistics, finance); and * Ability to work collaboratively in a team focused environment. Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements and applicants with current Australian defence clearances are highly desirable.
