Our opportunity We have an opportunity for a Senior Fund Analyst, BTR (Build-To-Rent) to join our team in Sydney. In this role you will work within the LIV BTR Funds team and work closely with the Fund Manager – BTR Sector Lead, the role will focus on performing analysis for BTR portfolio in relation to future strategy, capital and funds management as well as capital raising. The Senior Fund Analyst, BTR will initially report to the Deputy Fund Manager – BTR. Your responsibilities will include: Produce detailed analysis with assessment of impact to asset and venture returns and other key financial metrics, with consideration of recommended pathway/s. Ensuring input data integrity for the following: Venture scenario and strategy modelling; Capital management; Portfolio budgeting and forecasting based upon inputs from asset and portfolio managers; New asset opportunities. Prepare and manage BTR fund metrics based upon inputs from Asset, and Portfolio Managers. Assess overall portfolio performance against key return and hurdle KPI’s and assist with the delivery of associated BTR portfolio strategy. Support the Venture with capital raising activities, including modelling new equity and various portfolio growth scenarios and/or sensitivities. Ensure accuracy in preparation and timely delivery of Fund financial information for ongoing monthly & quarterly reporting. Work with finance & treasury business partners during quarterly reforecasting processes to ensure integrity of data, assumptions and forecast covenant positions. Oversee budget process to ensure the Fund’s requirements are captured and communicated to relevant teams Assist in analysis of broker, investor and retailer queries as required and analyse Mirvac Build to Rent performance relative to peers. Maintain an in depth understanding of capital markets and macroeconomic conditions & analyse relevant economic and real estate data to support investment submissions. Your point of difference You will be professionally qualified with a finance or property related degree - a CFA, CPA, CA or similar qualification is viewed positively; and have demonstrated experience in a similar role with financial modelling responsibilities. Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate and interact positively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including external investors and senior executives. You will have discretion, diplomacy and the ability to maintain confidentiality. You will enjoy working as part of a team and be highly organised with strong attention to detail and have excellent planning and organisational skills to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
