This role will support the firm's goal to enhance resilience in the organisation by effectively planning, preparing, responding to and recovering from adverse events and business disruption. The role will provide strategic crisis and business continuity management advice and expertise to review, analyse, develop and implement crisis management and business continuity plans, and work with business areas to develop scenarios and run exercises to ensure the firm is ready to respond to crisis events and business disruption. This role can be based in either Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Hong Kong or Singapore. Reporting to the Head of Business Resilience, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Support incident response and recovery activities where required to enable the firm to manage a crisis event and meet compliance requirements. Proactively implement, maintain and document management of BC plans. Proactively implement, maintain and document management of Incident Response Playbooks Facilitate and coordinate the execution and completion of Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) globally. Support the Business Development team with credentials for pitches, tenders and bids. Management of outstanding action logs. Back-up support to other regional leads. Lead Cyber and other scenario-based exercises, (desktop, BCP testing, scenario workshops etc) within Business Continuity and Incident Response. Comply with WHS obligations and responsibilities in accordance with the requirements for this role and, for leaders at any level, this includes adequately supervising and supporting team members to promote a safe and respectful workplace. To be successful in this role, you will have: 5 years experience within a business continuity and/or Operational Resilience environment Knowledge of technology and business concepts, life cycles and processes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self-starter with the ability to work with a great degree of autonomy. Experienced in working with global virtual teams. Strong advisory and facilitation skills. Demonstrated ability to independently coordinate multiple activities with cross-functional groups to achieve a common outcome. Strong influencing and relationship skills. Must be able to influence a diverse group of stakeholders at all levels, without the need for direct authority. Demonstrate strong leadership skills in managing crises and coordinating response efforts. Proven capability to work to deadlines in coordinating document reviews and training schedules. Work collaboratively with various departments to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to business continuity. Experience of working in a professional services firm (legal, accountancy, management consultancy) seen as an advantage. Pays close attention to details in developing and implementing business continuity plans. Possess a deep understanding of operational resilience principles, frameworks, and best practices. Proactively identify and mitigate risks to minimise the impact of disruptions on business operations. Strong knowledge of Service Now (BCM and Operational Resilience modules) ideal.
