In line with the NSW Government's initiative to reduce gambling harm, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Responsible Gambling Officer (RGO) to join our team. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor gaming areas to identify patrons at risk of gambling harm or displaying concerning gambling behaviour. - Engage with patrons to provide information on responsible gambling practices and available support services. - Facilitate self-exclusion requests and assist patrons in accessing gambling support services. - Maintain accurate records of gambling incidents and interactions with patrons. - Collaborate with management to develop and implement harm minimization strategies. - Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements Requirements: - Completion of the Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gambling (ARCG) training. - Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality or gaming industry. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. - Demonstrated commitment to promoting responsible gambling practices. - Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
