Job Description Lead and manage a multidisciplinary environmental team, ensuring delivery of high-quality work on time and within budget Drive business development by identifying new opportunities, preparing tenders, and maintaining strong industry networks Oversee the commercial performance of projects and client accounts, ensuring profitability and long-term sustainability Coordinate and complete complex environmental assessments, field surveys, and detailed reports Negotiate with clients to refine project scope, budgets, and timelines, ensuring alignment with objectives Provide strategic technical input into large-scale and complex projects Mentor, coach, and develop team members to enhance capability and performance Represent the consultancy at conferences, seminars, and networking events Maintain compliance with all relevant legislation, internal quality systems, and safety procedures Develop and implement business plans in collaboration with senior leadership Skills & Experience Required Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline (required) Around 10 years’ relevant industry experience, including proven leadership in a senior environmental role (required) Demonstrated ability to manage teams, including recruitment, performance management, and career development (required) Strong commercial acumen, with a track record of managing budgets, project profitability, and business growth (required) High-level knowledge of environmental processes, standards, and regulatory requirements (required) Proven business development skills and experience preparing tenders and winning new work (required) Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the preparation of clear, detailed reports (required) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making abilities (required) Membership or eligibility for membership of a relevant professional organisation (desirable) Apply below in strict confidence or call Harry Presdee on 0423051339 Please note that due to a high number of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
