Located in Glendale, NSW NTHA is a nationally registered Group Training Organisation that employs and supports apprentices by placing them with host employers for quality, paid hands-on training and experience. ABOUT THE HOST EMPLOYER They are a well-established joinery company specialising in a unique branch of woodworking. They focus on crafting and assembling high-quality wooden components for buildings and furniture. As a small, skilled team, they pride themselves on attention to detail, craftsmanship, and a supportive work environment. ABOUT THE ROLE Are you interested in the process of timber manufacturing? Would you like to learn the ropes of fabricating and using tools and machinery? A Timber and Wood Product Operations role involves a wide range of tasks including processing, manufacturing, and managing timber and wood products. This can involve operating machinery, assembling components, quality control, stock management, and even sales or marketing support. Work environments may include small workshops or large manufacturing facilities. Throughout this traineeship, you will work towards a Certificate III in Timber and Wood Products Operations (FWP30322) — a nationally recognised qualification that lays the groundwork for a successful career in the industry.
