Eden Ritchie Recruitment are seeking an experienced Senior Communications Advisor (Delivery) to join a dynamic team within the North Coast Region, leading communication and stakeholder engagement strategies for significant road and transport infrastructure projects. Rate: Circa $77.00 per hour super Location: Maroochydore, North Coast Region Contract Length: 3 years In this role, you will: Manage and coordinate the region’s stakeholder and community engagement program for allocated QTRIP funded projects in the delivery phase. Provide tactical advice on engagement strategies, communication issues, and oversee communication activities across project phases. Supervise and support Communications Officers to ensure consistency and quality of messaging. Develop and maintain relationships with media and key stakeholders to foster cooperation and ensure accurate, timely communication. Ensure adherence to governance frameworks and provide training and support to enhance communication capabilities across teams. To be successful, you will bring: Strong experience in communications, stakeholder engagement, or media relations, ideally within infrastructure project environments. High-level advisory skills in community engagement and public affairs. Experience supervising communication teams or projects. Excellent skills in preparing, editing, and reviewing a variety of communication materials. A solid understanding of government operations, media relations, and executive correspondence. A degree in communications, journalism, or public relations (desirable). IAP2 Engagement certification or willingness to obtain it (favourably regarded). A current Class ‘C’ Driver’s Licence (desirable). The ability to undergo and pass a criminal history check.
