You’ll work collaboratively with psychiatrists, nurses, allied health, and the Primary Care team to deliver integrated and holistic care. Key responsibilities include: Conducting intake, triage, assessment, and risk evaluations Developing and delivering trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions Coordinating care and liaising with internal and external services Working cross-culturally, often with interpreters Contributing to recovery planning and outcome-focused reporting About You You are a compassionate and adaptable clinician who thrives in community settings and is committed to social justice and equitable healthcare. You will have: AHPRA registration as a Psychologist , and eligibility for APS membership Minimum 3 years of clinical mental health experience Experience working with trauma and refugee populations (highly desirable) Skills in one or more therapeutic approaches: EMDR, trauma-focused CBT, psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, narrative therapy , internal family systems, or polyvagal theory Strong skills in risk assessment, safety planning , and care coordination Ability to work autonomously, and within a multidisciplinary team If you’re looking for a role where your skills will change lives and your values align with social impact and equity , we would love to hear from you.
