Min $80 per hour, plus super Are you a strategic communicator with a passion for leading change in the digital space? We’re seeking a Change Communications Manager to support the successful implementation of a new digital solution in the education space. This role is central to driving stakeholder engagement and communication activities that enable the adoption of new processes and technologies. You’ll work with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including software providers, policy teams, and sector representatives, to ensure smooth transitions and effective uptake of digital capabilities. About the Role As the Change Communications Manager, you’ll be part of a dedicated Change and Engagement team, collaborating closely with senior leaders and project teams to deliver meaningful outcomes. Your work will support the rollout of a new digital platform designed to improve service delivery across the sector. Key Responsibilities Change & Stakeholder Management • Develop and implement change management plans, including timelines, resources, and key milestones. • Establish and chair a sector reference group to represent early childhood services. • Design and support training programs to help users adapt to new systems and processes. • Draft system correspondence templates and execute communication plans to keep stakeholders informed. • Identify and engage key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in. • Coordinate briefings, updates, and workshops across government and the early childhood sector. • Monitor risks and escalate issues as needed. Digital Vendor Engagement • Research and identify software providers operating in the relevant market. • Lead engagement plans and facilitate information sessions with these digital solution providers. • Collaborate with legal teams to support the development of formal agreements for the collection and use of data. • Maintain ongoing relationships with vendors through regular communication and updates. About You You’re a confident communicator and strategic thinker with: • At least 8 years’ experience in stakeholder management and change implementation within large-scale enterprise platforms. • Proven ability to lead engagement across diverse stakeholder groups, resolve conflicts, and drive alignment. • Strong influencing, negotiation, and collaboration skills. • A proactive, self-starting approach with a commitment to values-based leadership. • Experience in government and/or the early childhood or education sector (highly regarded). • An understanding of secure data management and digital transformation principles.
