It collaborates widely to harness internal and external data assets, supporting ASIC's vision through data sourcing, infrastructure, reporting, analytics, and governance. The role As a BI Developer you will work with a cross-functional project team and will gather and document reporting requirements to meet business needs. Your role will encompass the following responsibilities: Design, development and implementation of critical Business Intelligence (BI) reports using Power BI. Using your skills and experience as a BI Developer, you will then use those requirements to design, develop, test and implement reports and dashboards that utilize the underlying data store(s)/ data warehouse(s) / data mart(s). Provide training and assistance to users for generation of ad-hoc reports. Design and implement BI best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes. Must be able to perform duties with moderate to low supervision. Monitor Power BI Platform in an admin capacity. Maintain, support, debug and enhance existing reporting solutions. About you As an experienced BI Developer interested in working within a complex, enterprise level environment, you will have the following skills: More than 4-7 years' experience in a Power BI developer position. Experience in data mart or BI semantic layer design (e.g., dimensional modelling). In-depth understanding of database management systems, SQL, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework. Strong experience with solutions for Business Intelligence using Power BI (Mandatory), Qlik (Good to have). Deep knowledge of advanced SQL queries. Good understanding and experience with cloud services, such as AWS, Data Lake, Databricks. Experience of working as Power BI Admin. Excellent written and verbal skills with a high-level ability to articulate and present complex concepts clearly and concisely.
