The Senior Infrastructure Engineer supports in-house platforms and contributes to ACIC's intelligence services. They are responsible for the design, implementation and support of the ACIC's physical and virtual compute infrastructure. Infrastructure Engineers will have subject matter expertise and knowledge in VMWare and Microsoft environments. Strong skills in multi-domain enterprise environments including Azure/M365 and hybrid Exchange with a security first focus. The key duties of the position include Managing and maintaining VMWare ESXi infrastructure including Workspace One and Horizon; Managing and maintaining enterprise-wide virtual servers to OS layer (Microsoft and RHEL); Managing infrastructure in compliance with Essential 8 and Information Security Manual guidelines. Your skills and capabilities Has demonstrated subject matter expertise in the administration and management of Microsoft and VMWare enterprise technologies; Displays well-developed leadership and people management skills, including the ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external working relationships through consultation and sharing of information; Will be able to shape strategic thinking, apply sound judgment and align operational activities with corporate goals; Possesses highly developed verbal and written communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with Senior Executive officers to reach an agreement on complex matters related to infrastructure and operations.
