We're looking for an APS4 Security Administration Officer who will be accountable, under limited direction, for the administration and provision of support in the day-to-day running of the Agency's Protective security functions, including assisting with managing of personnel security, access control and providing an office security concierge function. This work may require the individual to work with sensitive issues independently, or with assistance from the broader team where needed. Learning support will be provided where required. Working in accordance with security policies and procedures, the Security Administration Officer will enable organisational effectiveness and efficiency through the provision of support in managing the Agency's personnel security posture, including through internal and external stakeholder engagement. The key duties of the position include The Security Administration Officer also act as a Designated Security Officer for the Agency for their area. To be successful, you will have: Knowledge of and experience with the Australian Government Security Framework (i.e. Protective Security Policy Framework) is highly desirable. Strong organisation skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills. Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills. Relevant Qualifications and/or the ability to obtain qualifications in the field of Protective Security (i.e. Certificate IV in Government Security) or Government Administration.
