The role involves physically demanding tasks and hands-on duties, including personal care, manual handling, and the use of hoists and lifters and meal time management. This site is best suited to proactive, nurturing individuals who are comfortable supporting clients with complex behaviours. Your role: Supporting adults with complex mental health, psychosocial disabilities and intellectual and physical disabilities in an independent living model. Following positive behaviour support and care support plans as directed by clinical teams and site managers. Encouraging capacity building to enhance clients’ current skills, such as hygiene, safe relationships, domestic duties, using public transport and accessing the community safely. Promoting choice and control and show eagerness to participate in clients’ day to day routines, goals, and interests. To work well within a team and provide a positive and safe environment for our clients. Efficient in computer skills and report writing! Some of our requirements: We are aware there are quite a few compliance checks (listed below) for this role however, what’s important to us is that you have regular access to your own car and a P2 NSW Drivers Licence or higher and flexible availability across a 24/7 roster which may include, mornings (6am-2pm OR 7am-3pm), afternoons (2pm-10pm OR 3pm- 11pm), active/sleepover nights (10pm-6am OR 11pm-7am).
