Description Overview of role: Coliban Water is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead complex business transformation and improvement initiatives as part of its ‘Coliban of the Future’ program. This role drives operational, process, and capability uplift projects, applying Agile and Waterfall methods, business analysis, and change management to deliver lasting organisational impact. Key Responsibilities: As our Project Manager - Transformation, you will be accountable for: Lead complex transformation projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, using PMBOK, Prince2, and/or Agile methodologies. Form and guide cross-functional project teams including business analysts, architects, SMEs, technology specialists, and change managers to deliver outcomes . Manage budgets, risks, governance, and documentation across the project lifecycle, including plans, schedules, business cases, and benefit realisation tracking. Engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, facilitating stakeholder workshops, gathering requirements, and ensuring effective communication and alignment. Oversee procurement and vendor management , from request for proposals, through to contract delivery and quality assurance. About you: Project Management Expertise. Extensive experience leading projects for large scale business change projects, including operational, technology or process organisational capability uplifts Certified or experienced in PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or Kanban; adept at managing timelines, budgets, resources, dependencies, and delivering large-scale business, technology, or process change projects. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills . Strong business analysis capability, able to apply human-centred, lateral, and conceptual thinking to develop fit-for-purpose solutions. Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership . Proven ability to influence, negotiate, resolve conflicts, and build strong relationships across complex organisations; skilled in facilitating workshops and presenting to senior leaders. Technical & Tool Proficiency – Experienced in MS Teams, Visio, PowerPoint, Gantt charts, project management software, and Agile delivery techniques. Sound like you? We’d love to hear from you.
