Description What You’ll Be Doing As a Contracts Advisor , you will play a key role in the full lifecycle of our contract management processes. Your day-to-day will involve: Managing end-to-end contracting activities including tender development, submission, evaluation, and award. Monitoring performance against KPIs and contract conditions. Reporting and delivering corrective actions to ensure consistent service levels. Supporting cost-saving initiatives within the supply chain through effective contract oversight. Contributing to the timely and successful execution of cost improvements within agreed parameters. Providing guidance on contract processes and ensuring compliance with legislation, regulations, and site procedures. Working closely with internal stakeholders to understand, plan, and scope their contract requirements. Sourcing competitive and fit-for-purpose supplier options. Maintaining awareness of current and upcoming business activities to anticipate contract needs. Assisting in delivering staff training on contract procedures and supporting continuous improvement. This is a Monday to Friday role. Skills And Experiences About You We’re looking for someone who’s ready to step up and take the next step in their contracts career. You may currently be working as a Contracts Administrator , and are now ready to apply your skills in a more advisory and strategic capacity. To succeed in this role, you will have: Experience in contract administration or contract management, ideally in mining, metalliferous refining, or heavy industry. A solid understanding of contract law and the ability to interpret contractual terms and conditions. Confidence in identifying risks, providing advice, and suggesting improvements. Experience in commercial and contractual negotiations. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. The ability to prioritise and manage competing workloads effectively. Familiarity with JD Edwards or similar contract management systems (preferred). High ethical standards and a professional approach when dealing with vendors, contractors, and internal teams. Strong communication skills — both written and verbal — and a collaborative attitude.
