The Role We are currently seeking Early Childhood Educators who, under the direction of the Centre leaders, will assist in implementing a care program catering to the individual needs of each child within a group setting. Early Childhood Educators play a crucial role at the College, with each day offering a variety-filled and dynamic experience. Primary duties include supervising and interacting with the children, setting up activities, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all at our Centre. You will hold: Minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent); or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent), or: Certificate IV in Education Support (or equivalent) – Kindergarten roles only; Current Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting certificate; Current ACECQA approved Anaphylaxis and Emergency Asthma Management Training; Valid Working with Children Check Blue Card or the ability to obtain; Accredited Child Protection Training; Completion of an approved child protection training course in compliance with Section 162A of the National Law, effective 1 April 2025. This includes one of the following units delivered by a registered training organisation (RTO): • CHCPRT025 — Identify and report children and young people at risk • CHCPRT001 — Identify and respond to children and young people at risk • CHCPRT026 — Support the rights and safety of children and young people • CHCPRT002 — Support the rights and safety of children and young people • CHCECE057 — Use collaborative practices to uphold child protection principles * Superseded courses still accepted during the transitional period.
