Description About the role As a Production Coordinator at ADA', you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. Based in our Thomastown, VIC facility, this Full Time - 12 Month Temporary Maternity Leave position will see you coordinate and optimise production activities to support the overall business objectives. The position is responsible for production order processing, capacity planning, scheduling for a variety of customers and actioning Demand Planning requirements. The Production Coordinator supports the Operations Team to streamline processes, improve efficiencies, and ensure that we have the “right stock, in the right place, at the right time”. What you'll be doing Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and operational targets Monitor production progress and liaise with team members to identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks Collaborate with the planning and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records and provide regular reports to management Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest innovative solutions to increase productivity Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by providing guidance and support to the production team What we're looking for Proven experience as a Production Coordinator or similar role within an apparel manufacturing environment Strong understanding of production planning and scheduling principles, as well as familiarity with production management software Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and work under pressure Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams Proficient in data analysis and reporting to drive continuous improvement A team player with a customer-centric approach and a commitment to safety and quality What we offer At ADA, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
