Successful candidates will have the ability to cooperate, manage, lead and perform successfully across corporate and operational functions The key duties of the position include The Assistant Director Property reports to the Director People and Property in the provision of property and facilities management, and support services to the NACC. The role has people, program, and stakeholder management responsibilities that will require you to maintain a range of internal and external stakeholder relationships networks. Key activities Provide advice to the Executive and Director of People and Property on strategic matters related to property including lease management, lease budget management, facility services, accommodation, and the ongoing maintenance of NACC facilities. Managing the procurement and service delivery of contractors, consultants and other property industry professionals in the provision of property and facility services to the NACC in accordance with relevant legislation and Whole of Australian Government policies and procedures including environmental management and safety. Leading, managing and mentoring a customer focused team, providing facilities management services across multiple locations. Actively developing collaborative and productive relationships with key stakeholders, and key service providers and suppliers. Project management of building fit out alterations and relocations, including the preparation of project briefs for architects and services consultants. Driving innovation, problem solving and decision-making with an ability to lead by example and to coach, mentor, and guide team members. Managing the delivery of NACC facility services and ability to develop and maintain asset/facilities management plans and programs. The NACC is a small agency. In addition to these activities, from time to time you may be asked to undertake tasks that are outside your usual span of duties but that are within the range of your capabilities.
