Operations Officer- Lending Fulfilment As the Operations Officer- Lending Fulfilment you are part of dedicated team responsible for the end-to-end home loan settlement process, inclusive of document preparation, execution, settlement, same day funding or loan closure, home loan variations, and construction lending. Our team ensures a smooth transition to settlement for our customers in accordance with process, policy, and procedure. This is a 6-month secondment role which is based in Brisbane. You’ll make an impact by: You are accountable for assisting the Team to grow a culture of exceptional service, teamwork, commitment to excellence and a professional ethic that enables the achievement of the team and organisational objectives. Accurately review documents and ensuring they have been correctly completed in preparation for settlement, all in accordance with customers’ needs, legal requirements, policy and procedure. Process settlement workspaces, funding and finalising mortgages, along with collateral creation or discharge. Do things differently with us To succeed in this role, you will have: Minimum 3 years’ experience in Financial Services with exposure to operations; ideally, with a robust understanding of the settlement process. Knowledge of the property settlement processes within the Australian lending standards. PEXA experience highly desirable. Knowledge of relevant finance industry standards, acts, codes, and legislation (e.g., Consumer Credit Code, Code of Practice, Privacy Act, Trade Practices Act, Financial Services Reform Act). Organised, enjoy working at a fast pace individually, and within a team to manage the workflow. Commercially savvy, technically minded and have high attention to detail. Why Great Southern Bank?
