Job description Reporting to the National Operations Manager, this role will be based in Wetherill Park and will oversee the efficient operation of the Sydney manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for supervising shift activities and managing personnel to ensure production targets are consistently met while maintaining quality standards. With a safety-first approach and a continuous improvement mindset, the Production Supervisor will oversee daily plant operations while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through the on-time delivery of quality products. Job Responsibilities: Operations Lead and manage daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets and quality standards. Collaborate with the National Operations Manager to monitor budget performance and financial outcomes of production and warehouse activities. Ensure compliance with GMP and maintain inspection readiness at all times. Support production planning and ensure alignment with scheduled outputs. Monitor and improve production processes to maximise efficiency. Coordinate production start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers. Ensure quality control tests are consistently conducted. Work closely with the Maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability and upkeep. Ensure all products meet AYVA’s quality standards before dispatch. Actively participate in production supervisor meetings and team briefings. Leadership and Supervision Lead, motivate and support a team of manufacturing personnel. Delegate tasks effectively and ensure timely completion. Ensure staff are adequately trained and qualified for their roles. Develop and manage training programs focused on employee development and retention. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts promptly. Provide regular performance feedback and conduct staff evaluations. Manage shift schedules to ensure adequate coverage. Promote a culture of integrity, transparency and mutual respect. Ensure implementation of Standard Operating Procedures [SOPs] and Toolbox talks Safety and Compliance Ensure safety policies and procedures are consistently implemented to decrease the potential for employee injuries on the job Conduct regular inspections of equipment and production areas. Lead emergency response procedures.
