Serve as primary tactical HR contact for designated business unit(s), providing broad HR support for staffing, rewards, development, employee relations, and other HR issues Partner with business leaders to anticipate and address the strategic people issues associated with achieving business goals Implement recruiting plans and hire great talent for the organization; coach managers to make quality hiring decisions Support the organization on performance management implementation and development; guide managers on coaching, counselling for performance improvement, career development, and employee relations issues Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention Act as a liaison to other HR functions when necessary Maintain basic knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance; partner with the legal department as needed/required Support line managers to implement key policies and procedures Monitor and interpret HR indicators relevant to business unit(s)
