Car Wash Site Manager & General Maintenance Location: South Nowra, NSW Hands-On Role | 7 Day Site Oversight | Self-Managed Immediate Start | Consistent Hours | South Nowra Car Wash is seeking a proactive and reliable individual to take ownership of the daily operations and maintenance of our car wash facility. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who enjoys working independently, maintaining clean and efficient spaces, and has a practical, problem-solving mindset. About the Role Our South Nowra car wash offers both automatic and self-serve bays. As our new Site Manager , you'll be responsible for opening and closing the facility daily, keeping all systems running smoothly, and ensuring the premises are clean, well-stocked, and welcoming for our customers. This role is self-managed and offers consistent, ongoing hours across the full week. Duties Include Opening and locking up the site each day Performing general cleaning (hoppers, drains, forecourt) Topping up soaps and chemicals, stocktaking, and basic ordering Pre-washing and drying vehicles (when needed) Troubleshooting car wash machines and restarting systems Minor maintenance and replacing parts (e.g. wash guns, nozzles, leaks) Reporting larger faults or breakdowns to the business owner About You You're highly reliable, punctual, and take pride in keeping things running smoothly You work well autonomously and can be trusted to manage the site solo You're physically fit, hands-on, and capable of general maintenance tasks Previous experience in a similar environment (car wash, maintenance, facility management) is highly regarded What's on Offer Ongoing casual position with consistent hours (approx. 8hrs/day) 7-day site coverage (with flexibility around exact start/finish times) Training provided on machine operation and site processes Stable opportunity with a supportive business owner If you don't meet all of the above requirements - but believe you have something special you could bring to this role - we still want to hear from you!
