Aircraft Maintenance Engineers - Rotary & Fixed Wing Cairns, Far North Queensland Relocation: Offered for exceptional candidates We are currently seeking LAMEs/AME's and Rotary Wing Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join a well-established and fast-growing MRO organisation based in Cairns, supporting both fixed and rotary wing aircraft operations. With ongoing growth and increasing demand for services, this organisation is expanding its skilled engineering team and is looking for highly motivated aviation professionals who are committed to safety, quality, and technical excellence. Requirements: CASA Part 66 License or Certificate IV Aeroskills (Mechanical) Current ASIC card (or eligibility to obtain one) General Aviation experience on PT6 turbine aircraft (desirable) Hands-on experience with one or more of the following aircraft is highly regarded: Bell Series (212/412, 206/407) Airbus / Eurocopter Leonardo AW139 Experience in Part 145 maintenance environments Ability to interpret technical specifications and maintenance instructions Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to work independently Key Responsibilities for LAMEs: Carrying out and certifying maintenance in line with the Maintenance Organisation Exposition Supervising and mentoring Apprentices and AMEs Providing time estimates and job status updates to the Project Coordinator Coordinating critical inspections as per CASR and internal MOE procedures Proactively identifying safety risks and reporting unresolved hazards Ensuring maintenance documentation is completed accurately and on time What's on Offer: A dynamic and supportive team environment The opportunity to work on diverse aircraft types A relocation package for exceptional candidates Career development in a growing aviation business The lifestyle benefits of living in tropical Far North Queensland Please note: Applicants must hold a valid Australian driver's licence and meet all aviation security clearance requirements.
