Looking for a full time team member from September to late November for spot spraying within native grassland offsets on a large family farm located between Shelford and Rokewood VIC. Accommodation on site is available for a small fee. Will be within a variable team of 3-8 that includes a team leader, a contractor and a seasonal backpackers. Knowledge of and ability to identify common grassland weeds is an advantage but full training and supervision will be provided. Previous weed control experience is considered an advantage and hourly rate has some room for negotiation based on experience. All equipment and chemical will be supplied and strict OHS policies are in place. The job involves lots of walking with knapsacks and possible tractor and boom spray use for the right applicant. The job will be full time hours (unless poor weather occurs) at casual rate M-F with 8 hour days from September and throughout Spring.
