Recruit & train new channel partners to develop pipeline Identify top direct and indirect sales opportunities to build a sales plan to exceed quota Maintain Salesforce and submit regular reports to management with forecast Required Skills: 10 years of sales experience in the telecommunications industry, with a focus on IP and Optical, selling into Service Providers, Channel, and verticals in Australia. New Zealand and Pacific Islands. Established customer relationships and proven ability to build new trusted relationships in defined markets and region. Demonstrated record of accomplishment of exceeding sales targets in a highly competitive environment. Ability to work remotely, independently and manage all sales activities for all accounts. Consultative and solution-selling techniques, excellent business acumen, and technically astute. Able to find creative solutions to complex problems. Excellent communication, presentation, and Microsoft Office skills Business, Engineering, or related degree preferred. Willing to travel up to 20% of the time as the needs of the business dictate. Preference is in the Sydney area; however, the right candidate's skills and relationships take precedence.
