Overview As the Senior Software Engineer for digital products, you will lead development from concept to deployment, working on mobile and desktop applications, vehicle connectivity, mapping, and more. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, guide technical decisions, and mentor engineers. Responsibilities Collaborate with teams to develop interoperable systems managing customer interactions inside and outside vehicles. Translate requirements into technical specifications. Plan and prioritize digital product development with stakeholders. Recommend tools and technologies, influencing build/buy/partner decisions. Implement best practices in software development, including code reviews and testing. Mentor junior engineers and stay updated with industry trends. This role is remote within the U.S., with occasional in-office attendance and travel requirements. Not eligible for remote work in NYC. Qualifications Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field. 5 years in software development, with leadership experience, especially in payments, ecommerce, or front-end development. Strong communication skills. Experience with responsive web design, CSS frameworks, API consumption, and web security best practices. Experience in startup environments and building customer-facing apps. Preferred Automotive or manufacturing experience. Experience with AWS, CI/CD pipelines.
