Officering 52 independent living units, as well as a 101-bed residential care facility, they are committed to providing high quality aged care accommodation services for the community, through an enriched and stimulating environment. About the Role We’re looking for a part-time ICT Support Assistant to join our team. This is an ideal entry-level role for someone currently studying IT or recently finished an IT course. In this role, you’ll provide hands-on support to staff and residents, helping them with everyday tech issues like computer, tablet, and internet problems. Your support will play a key part in ensuring technology runs smoothly and remains accessible for everyone in the facility. The role is temporary part-time (4 days per week). The casual hourly rate is $41, and there is a view to permanency for the right candidate. Duties and Responsibilities Provide friendly, hands-on support to staff and residents with everyday IT issues such as login difficulties, internet connectivity, and device errors. Assist in the maintenance and setup of computers, printers, tablets, and mobile phones. Deliver clear and patient guidance to users on how to use technology effectively. Maintain accurate records of ICT equipment and assist with basic updates, maintenance, or troubleshooting. Adhere to internal ICT policies and procedures, and promptly report any issues or risks. Collaborate with our managed service provider to identify opportunities for system improvements and efficiency. Contribute to small ICT projects and assist with ad hoc technical tasks as required. Skills and Experience Currently studying IT or have basic technical training. Curious and eager to learn more about solving tech problems. Communicate clearly, respectfully, and patiently—especially with older users. Able to explain technology in simple, easy-to-understand terms. Detail-oriented, organised, and reliable. Patient and persistent when troubleshooting issues.
