Initial 12-month max term with potential for perm conversion Flexible hybrid WFH & WFO - 2 days in Sydney CBD office Work with leading automation, orchestration, and cloud technologies We’re seeking a skilled IT Automation Support Specialist to join a high-performing global team, supporting customers on one of the world’s most advanced enterprise cloud platforms. This is a hands-on role, troubleshooting sophisticated technical issues that go beyond first-line support. You’ll work closely with customers, field engineers, and product teams to diagnose, debug, and resolve complex problems, with a particular focus on automation, orchestration, and IT operations management solutions. What Your Days Will Look Like: Troubleshoot complex platform, infrastructure, and automation issues Support enterprise customers using ITOM/ITAM tools such as CMDB, Orchestration, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Cloud Provisioning Debug Java, JavaScript, and scripting languages (Python, Shell, Perl) Administer Linux/Unix or Microsoft Server environments Investigate networking, load balancing, and firewall configurations Collaborate with engineering teams to report and resolve design or reliability issues What You’ll Bring to the Table: Strong troubleshooting skills in complex technical environments Object-oriented coding skills (Java preferred, other languages welcome) Proficiency in one or more scripting languages: JavaScript preferred, but Python, Shell, Perl ok also) Experience with web application stacks and relational databases (MySQL, Oracle) Experience with networking concepts (TCP/IP, HTTP, SNMP) and related tools (Wireshark, Traceroute) Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to translate technical details for varied audiences Nice to Haves: Understanding of SNMP traps and MIBs/OIDs Familiarity with VMware, AWS, Azure, or Amazon EC2 or automation templates (ARM, CFT) Fluency in Japanese (nice to have only) Why You’ll Love It Here: Exposure to cutting-edge automation and cloud infrastructure technologies Collaborative, supportive, and global team culture Career growth opportunities in a leading SaaS company Sydney CBD | Hybrid (2 days in office) | Initial 12-month max term with potential to convert to permanent Don't miss out - Apply today!
