Located on the Stuart Highway since 1982, it provides a comprehensive range of facilities for travellers and locals alike. We provide not only fuel and general supplies, but also home cooked meals for lunch and dinner as well as fresh sandwiches, salads and freshly brewed coffee. We are looking for an experienced morning cook to join our friendly team . Your responsibilities will include: • Preparing and cooking food for dine in and takeaway. • Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen, abiding by all Workplace Health, Safety & Hygiene regulations at all times. • Maintaining food quality and presentation under pressure. • Serving meals to customers when required. • Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment. • Storing food in temperature-controlled facilities. • Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements. This is a busy role and requires someone who is reliable, works well under pressure and can ensure high quality food is always being served to our customers. You must be able to work well in a team environment. Ideally, you will also have solid cooking experience and very good food product knowledge.
