Under the guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager or Associate Nurse Manager, the Enrolled Nurse will provide delivery of quality, supportive care of clients in Depaul House in collaboration with other health professionals. You will support the client in withdrawal by considering their physical and psychological needs by reducing further risks. Monitor physical withdrawals Evaluate client’s needs, respond in a timely manner, coordinate and collaborate with the treatment team in all aspects of client management in recovery process Identify and anticipate decline in clients’ physical /emotional withdrawal states Participate in and facilitate groups according to the in-house program activities Classifications for this position will range from IB66 to IB72 (69,206 - $76,934 per annum) Your Contribution Current Nursing Registration with APHRA Ability to participate and facilitate groups according to the in-house program activities Proficient with case formulation, development of discharge planning and follow up. Depaul House is part of St Vincent’s Department of Addiction Medicine. The Department of Addiction Medicine at St. Vincent's (which includes De Paul House withdrawal unit) is one of Australia’s leading centres for the medical treatment of drug or alcohol addiction. The work includes direct patient treatment, research, education/training and policy development. Depaul House fosters a standard of excellence within a skilled and compassionate team of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Welfare Workers.
