CORPORATE AFFAIRS SPECIALIST Gladstone Ports Corporation (GPC) is offering an exciting temporary fixed-term opportunity for a Corporate Affairs Specialist to lead our brand, reputation, and stakeholder engagement efforts. This full-time role is ideal for an experienced communications professional ready to make a significant impact while supporting our Government & Corporate Relations team. Role Overview As Corporate Affairs Specialist, you will: Lead the delivery of communication and stakeholder engagement strategies Support government relations and prepare materials for the shareholder Ministers and key stakeholders Enhance GPC’s reputation and social licence to operate through proactive communications Oversee external events and support crisis and issues management Monitor government, regulatory, and industry trends to identify opportunities and risks Prepare high-level reports and briefings for the Board, Executive Leadership Team and other as required. What We’re Looking For To succeed, you’ll bring: Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field Proven experience in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and crisis management Strong leadership skills with experience coaching and managing teams Ability to liaise confidently with government and ministerial offices Excellent verbal and written communication skills Commitment to upholding GPC’s values and workplace safety Desirable: IAP2 Certificate in Public Participation and Maritime Security Identification Card (or ability to obtain).
