About the company The company offer comprehensive design and construct services with comprehensive project management services. They have a strong portfolio across diverse sectors including Education, Healthcare, Commercial and Public facilities with over 200 completed projects plus a strong pipeline of work, they are looking for a Site Manager to help with an education project for the next 5 months. About the role Oversee the day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring projects run smoothly, on time, and within budget. Coordinate subcontractors, manage site teams, and ensure adherence to health & safety regulations. Maintain open communication with the client and project stakeholders. Manage quality control and ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. Document site activities, including daily reports, progress updates, and variation tracking. What you'll bring Trade Qualification: Carpentry, ideally with 5 years as a Site Manager within the commercial space (educational sector preferred). Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities. Proven track record in managing commercial refurbishments, particularly in education. Ability to run multiple aspects of a site independently and effectively. A practical, hands-on approach to site management with a focus on quality and safety. Trade qualifications in carpentry are essential for understanding the hands-on elements of the project.
