Our client seeks a Grit Blaster TA to join them in their facility in Bassendean. This role has the potential to be ongoing for the right candidate About the company : Our client is a leading design and manufacturing company specializing in the creation of custom heavy equipment for key clients, primarily in the mining industry across Western Australia. About the role: Grit blasting including confined space. Assist with surface preparation and cleaning Cleaning of blast rooms Tank movements between workshops / blast room General workshop and equipment maintenance Key Skills & Attributes: Be physically fit for grit blasting activities. Be a team player and a "can do" attitude Good written and oral communication skills Work to schedule requirements. Have a professional attitude and sound and safe work ethic. Working at Heights, EWP and Confined Space training desirable Forklift Licence is essential. Previous experience in a paint environment an advantage Desirable Qualifications: Forklift License - Mandatory WSH and CSE Desirable WP Class - Desirable C Class drivers licence You will have the highest regard for safety in the workplace. You will be required to pass a medical including drug and alcohol testing, random drug and alcohol testing will also be carried out on site.
