Location: Dubbo (Hybrid – 2 office days 1 remote) Start Date: ASAP (Pending Checks) End Date: 6 February 2026 Pay Rate: $532.02 – $558.63 per day Super Schedule: 3 days per week | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM | 24 hours/week About the Role We’re seeking an experienced and detail-focused Accounts Payable Officer to join our Financial Control team on a part-time basis for 6 months. Based in Dubbo, this role is ideal for someone with strong accounts payable experience who values flexibility and accuracy in a supportive and high-performing public sector finance environment. Key Responsibilities Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments in compliance with auditing, tax, contract, and payment term requirements. Manage and reconcile weekly vendor payment runs including EFTs and cash flow monitoring. Ensure GST and ABN compliance across all invoices. Liaise with internal staff and vendors to resolve payment queries promptly and professionally. Maintain accurate financial records, support month-end processes, and participate in finance system testing as needed. Monitor bank transactions for errors or anomalies and ensure appropriate actions are taken. Your Background At least 2 years' experience in an Accounts Payable role Familiarity with GST and tax legislation Excellent data entry and attention to detail Strong communication and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g. Dynamics 365, SAP Concur) NSW Driver's Licence Experience working in high-volume, deadline-driven environments Work Schedule & Flexibility Office Days: Ideally Monday, Tuesday, or Friday in-office; flexible third day Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Part-Time: 3 days per week (24 hours total) Potential to increase to 4 days/week during peak periods Sounds like you?
