Location: Townsville. Pay: $40 per hour super Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Officer to join our aged care home team. In this role, you will be responsible for the general upkeep, repairs, and preventative maintenance of our facility to ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-presented environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities : Carry out general repairs and maintenance across the facility Conduct preventative maintenance checks and schedules Ensure compliance with WHS and aged care standards Liaise with contractors and suppliers as needed Assist with grounds and equipment upkeep Requirements : Previous experience in maintenance, ideally in aged care or a similar environment Strong problem-solving and practical skills Ability to work independently and manage priorities Knowledge of WHS procedures Relevant trade qualification (highly regarded, not essential) What’s on Offer : Competitive pay rate of $40 per hour Monday to Friday roster — enjoy your weekends!
