About the Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen at Gregory open-cut operation for a motivated and detail-oriented Training Coordinator who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the training system, coordinating and maintaining training records, scheduling inductions, and ensuring compliance. This role is a full-time permanent role working a Monday to Friday roster. Key Responsibilities Include Develop and maintain site training plans, calendars, and procedures Coordinate and schedule training to meet operational needs Oversee inductions and contractor training compliance Keep training systems, records, and documentation accurate and up to date Maintain and improve the Training Document Management System Ensure training aligns with statutory and site-specific requirements Liaise with RTOs to deliver cost-effective, high-quality training Provide monthly reporting and support audits and safety initiatives Guide Trainers and Assessors, and manage statutory appointments About You Open-cut coal mining experience Strong administrative skills and experience using online training systems Certificate IV Trainer Assessor Knowledge of the Qld Coal Mining Safety & Health Act and Regulations What Sojitz can offer you: Competitive Remuneration Residential or DIDO options Salary Packaging options available – remote area benefits Ready to bring your trade expertise to a high-performing mining team?
