There is so much work coming through that the firm is seeking to double its existing team of about 30 lawyers as soon as possible. The firm believes in their lawyers being well-rounded to enable them to retain ownership of their matters from start to finish and thereby not only build well-rounded experience but also build rapport with clients The firm's environment has been guided to a place where there is collaboration between the partners, senior associates, associates and more junior lawyers, thereby demonstrating the firm's understanding of the value in investing in the future of the firm by giving and receiving knowledge. The Job The firm is seeking an experienced full-time, permanent Senior Associate to join the firm's team and hit the ground running. The ideal applicant will be a well-rounded Construction Lawyer with strong drafting skills and dispute resolution and litigation experience, however, the firm is also open to accepting applications from: strong front-end Construction Lawyers with ambitions to accrue in-depth experience in disputes and litigation; and/or strong back-end Construction Lawyers with good commercial acumen with ambitions to accrue in-depth experience in complex transactional work. The firm is open to good applicants who are living in Melbourne and will cover a reasonable relocation fee for the right person.
