We are currently seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to join a residential AOD treatment program that provides safe, supportive, and structured rehabilitation care to individuals working toward lasting change. About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and passionate nurse to contribute to a residential service focused on whole-person care. You’ll be part of a committed and multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, client-centred care to individuals undertaking recovery from alcohol and other drug use. Your clinical expertise in AOD and/or mental health will support residents through assessment, care planning, medication management, and therapeutic engagement, helping clients safely navigate their recovery journey. Job Details: Salary : Competitive remuneration superannuation salary packaging options Hours : Full-time, weekday role with some flexibility Team Environment : Multi-disciplinary team including clinical staff, treatment facilitators and support workers Support : Ongoing clinical supervision, structured induction, and opportunities for professional development Key Responsibilities: Deliver clinical assessments and implement effective nursing interventions Coordinate referrals to medical professionals and liaise with pharmacists Manage client intake and develop individualised care and transition plans Oversee medication administration and documentation in line with clinical governance Facilitate nurse-led clinics including check-ups and medication reviews Engage residents in health education, brief counselling and group sessions Work collaboratively with internal teams and external providers to optimise outcomes Contribute to continuous improvement, ensuring a high standard of care What You’ll Need: Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Minimum 5 years’ experience in AOD and/or Mental Health settings Strong understanding of residential care environments and complex client needs Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders A compassionate, flexible, and non-judgemental approach Confidence in using clinical systems and managing documentation (CRM & medical software) Understanding of aged care legislative frameworks (desirable) Demonstrated experience working with diverse and vulnerable populations including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples Apply now to be part of a dynamic team that values cultural sensitivity, collaboration, and excellence in healthcare.
