We specialise in manufacturing high-quality aluminium windows and doors for residential, semi-commercial, and transportable projects. We're looking for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer who enjoys variety and is passionate about supporting both production and product quality. Based at our Bibra Lake factory, this role works closely with both sales and production teams to ensure smooth processes and high standards from design through to delivery. Key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to : Maintain and support our in-house ERP system (job tracking, costing, scheduling, production instructions). Provide IT support across software, hardware, backups, and system maintenance. Assist in improving and testing ERP modules. Prepare CAD drawings for custom aluminium products and testing. Conduct and document product testing (e.g. wind, water, security) to meet Australian Standards. Analyse test data, recommend improvements, and modify designs as needed. Oversee maintenance and repairs of factory machinery and equipment. Collaborate with production to resolve design and fabrication challenges. Support QA processes and assist with documentation, manuals, and safety protocols. Participate in meetings with clients, builders, and architects when required. To be considered for this position, you will need : Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field. At least 2 years' relevant industry experience in mechanical design or manufacturing. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar). Strong knowledge of Australian building codes and relevant standards. Hands-on mindset with a willingness to learn and work both independently and in a team.
