Management Accountant – Property Development Focus Location: Albion, Brisbane (on-site) Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 Superannuation (based on experience) Client Overview Our client is one of Australia’s most innovative and design-led property developers, delivering award-winning residential and mixed-use projects that are reshaping urban communities. With a tight-knit team based in a boutique Brisbane office, they’re entering an exciting growth phase and looking for a commercially minded accountant to join them. About the Role This is a rare opportunity to step into a strategic finance position within the property development sector. As Management Accountant, you’ll oversee all aspects of project-level financial reporting and work closely with leadership to support commercial decisions across the business. Key Responsibilities Lead month-end reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management across multiple entities Deliver management reports, variance analysis, and financial insights to senior stakeholders Monitor project performance, investment feasibility, and forecasting Maintain intercompany transactions, fixed asset registers, and BAS/FBT compliance Liaise with external tax and accounting advisors Assist in due diligence, acquisitions, and financial modelling Improve internal controls and drive process improvements What We’re Looking For Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce CA/CPA qualified (or progressing) 5 years in a similar role, ideally in property development or real estate investment Strong technical knowledge of property accounting, compliance, and tax structures Skilled in Xero and Excel (Buildertrend or Procore a bonus) Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Detail-oriented with strong commercial acumen Why This Role?
