We're on the hunt for a skilled Mechanical Fitter who is interested in working for a client who specialises in earthmoving and hydraulic repairs. Located in Welshpool, our client has state of the art engineering and fabrication resources at your disposal. Key Responsibilities: Assemble and repair a wide range of equipment and ensuring optimal functionality. Perform fault finding and diagnostics to identify and rectify mechanical problems. Maintain and repair rock breakers, buckets, water tanks, jibs as well as a wide variety of hydraulic components Ensure that components are aligned properly and operate within specified tolerances. Run checks to make sure equipment is working properly and safely after installation or repair. Requirements: Trade Qualification in mechanical fitting Demonstrated experience in equipment assembly and repair within the mining sector Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills Good physical fitness Current drivers license/reliable transport Good attitude and willingness to learn Working Hours and Compensation: 10-hour shifts with Saturday work when required Temporary to Permanent Position Weekly Pays $55 per hour How to Apply: If you meet the above requirements and are ready to take on a challenging role with a dynamic team, please submit your resume detailing your relevant experience.
