We're looking for an experienced Director to oversee the strategic direction and day-to-day management of a dynamic Medical Workforce Unit in a major health service. What you’ll be doing: ✅Leading a high-performing team managing senior and junior medical workforce recruitment, credentialing, compliance, and rostering. ✅Driving strategic workforce planning, financial accountability, and operational efficiency to support sustainable medical staffing. ✅Collaborating closely with Clinical Directors, Medical Education teams, Finance, People & Culture, and external regulatory bodies. ✅Ensuring the smooth employment lifecycle for medical staff and advancing initiatives that improve workforce wellbeing and performance. What we’re looking for: ✅Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams in complex healthcare settings. ✅Strong strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and financial management skills. ✅In-depth knowledge of medical workforce operations, compliance, credentialing, and recruitment processes. ✅Ability to build effective partnerships across clinical, administrative, and external stakeholders.
