The Eczema Association Australasia Inc (EAA) is a small, passionate not-for-profit organisation supporting people living with eczema across the community. We're looking for a warm, capable, and community-minded Administration Officer to join our friendly team in a part-time capacity—with the exciting potential to grow into a full-time role as the organisation continues to expand. This role would suit someone mature and reliable, perhaps with school-aged children, who’s looking for flexibility, stability, and purpose in their work. We’re seeking someone who wants to make a difference and be part of something meaningful. About the role: This position reports to the CEO and plays a key part in supporting our small team. You’ll receive guidance and support but also be expected to work independently and bring ideas for positive change, especially around time-saving systems and improved processes. We're looking for someone who can settle into the role, take ownership, and grow with us as we enter an exciting period of development. Key duties include: Answering phones and providing friendly, patient support to community members Processing memberships and sending out new member welcome packs Inventory management of product samples and corporate partner stock Quarterly stocktakes and general office supply maintenance Managing incoming and outgoing mail, including weekly post office trips General errands (e.g. groceries, amenities, occasional banking) Magazine mail-outs (label printing, inserting, sorting, and posting) Maintaining and updating the procedures and policy manuals Assisting with expo and conference preparation, including goodie bags Supporting awareness campaigns, outreach initiatives, and other projects Systems & software: Main system used: Zoho One suite of applications (full training provided) Must be confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook , and other basic office tools About you: Mature, reliable, and able to take initiative Friendly, approachable, and patient—especially on the phone Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team Interested in contributing to the community and being part of something bigger Looking for long-term, stable employment with room to grow Willing to learn, adapt, and contribute to the Association’s growth and success Essential requirements: A valid driver’s licence (some errands involved) Willingness to undergo a police check Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable speaking with members of the public over the phone Hours & Flexibility: 3 days per week (21–24 hours) Possibility to grow into a full-time position over time Job Type: Part-time Pay: $35,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year Expected hours: 21 – 24 per week Application Question(s): This role will grow to full time.
