Role DescriptionThis is a hybrid role - on job sites across Melbourne and office based at head office in Coburg. As the Operations Manager Assistant in Commercial Contracting Construction. you will support the Chief Operating Officer in daily tasks, including project coordination, scheduling, and communicating with clients and subcontractors. Responsibilities will involve preparing reports, maintaining documentation, and assisting in resource allocation. ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies will be part of your daily duties. Qualifications /To be successful for this role you will possess:Proven experience (8 years) in commercial construction.Relevant Qualifications/Degree and experience in construction operations or project management.Proven track record in delivering both commercial projects and high-residential projects.Strong knowledge of building practices, compliance, and project management.Strong financial commercial acumen and the ability to make informed, strategic decisions.Knowledge of OSHA(Occupational Safety and Health Administration) requirements. Trade specific knowledge in resilient flooring, Carpet installation or Timber flooring is an advantage.
