The Opportunity We're looking for committed and experienced Junior Sous Chef Pastry (Full Time) to join our team! Key Accountabilities - Prepare pastries and desserts for outlets - Review production sheets to plan daily baking tasks - Safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools/equipment/appliances to prepare baked foods - Follow food safety and personal hygiene procedures - Monitor and report appliance and food temperatures to management - Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance - Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information - Communicate clearly and professionally with others Profile - Previous experience working as a Junior Sous Chef and Chef trade qualification - Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate a team - lead by example - Build strong relationships with producers and ensures quality sourced produce - Impeccable attention to detail - Proactive and the willingness to take initiative and make sound business decisions - Driven, creative and a genuine passion for Pastry and a strong customer service focus - Current knowledge of culinary trends and industry best practices - growth mindset - Commitment, determination and reliability (with the availability to work late nights and on weekends as required) - Able to demonstrate the capacity to perform the inherent requirements of the role - Valid Foodsafely Certificate - Must have full working rights in Australia To Apply - If you believe you are the right fit for this position, we encourage you to submit your application now.
