The right candidate will be responsible for: Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Inspect systems for efficiency, ensuring compliance with fire safety and building regulations. Conduct regular performance assessments and diagnostics on ventilation systems. Identify and repair faults in mechanical ventilation, refrigeration, or cooling units. Maintain records of maintenance and repairs to ensure regulatory compliance. Collaborate with fire safety experts to ensure systems meet Australian fire safety standards. Perform regular system testing to ensure optimal cooling, air flow, and energy efficiency. Manage system upgrades or replacements to improve efficiency and safety compliance. Handle refrigerants safely, ensuring environmental regulations are met. Work closely with building management to address HVAC concerns and ensure minimal system downtime. Ensure system compliance with both mechanical standards and fire safety regulations. Train and supervise junior technicians on best practices for system installation and maintenance. Provide emergency repair services as needed. About you: At least 1 year of experience as a Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic; Technical proficiency in HVAC and refrigeration systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair; Problem-solving skills to diagnose and repair system issues efficiently; Proficiency in mechanical tools and equipment; Attention to detail for ensuring system efficiency and safety;
