The Role: Power Systems Team Manager – Melbourne, Australia A leadership opportunity is available within a high-performing Grid & Power Systems team. This group plays a key role in helping clients navigate compliance and efficiency challenges, particularly around power systems studies and grid connection standards for energy generation projects. As the Power Systems Team Manager , you’ll lead a team of 10 engineers who are deeply involved in connecting clean energy projects—such as wind, solar, and storage—to the grid. Key Responsibilities Oversee the delivery of power systems studies from feasibility through commissioning. Ensure high-quality deliverables are produced on time and within scope. Manage team resourcing, project prioritization, and client expectations. Provide leadership and support on technically complex or high-stakes projects. Forecast workload and identify opportunities for new work. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Mentor team members and support recruitment efforts. Contribute to internal operations and management processes. What You’ll Bring 10 years of experience in power systems engineering. Proficiency with tools like PSS/E and PSCAD. Familiarity with the NEM generator connection process and working with NSPs/AEMO. Strong project management and leadership skills. A collaborative mindset and a passion for clean energy.
